To further strengthen communications and cooperation, and jointly explore the path of high-quality development of the parks, both sides reached a consensus on park operation and management, science popularization and publicity, and talent cultivation and exchanged souvenirs.
The geopark consists of Tianchi Park, a hot spring park and Halaha Park and Haosengou Park, with an area of about 3,653.21 square kilometers.
With volcanic landform and hot springs as the main features, as well as granite peaks and meandering rivers, the park is unique and typical at home and abroad. It’s a geoscience museum and a laboratory to explore the evolution of plateaus, volcanism and the formation of hot springs. It’s also a geopark that integrates scientific research, ecological tourism, popular science education and leisure vacation.
